We Do Recover are a residential rehabilitation centre based in Liverpool, Merseyside, helping individuals with a drug or alcohol addiction to overcome their addiction and lead a more fulfilling, enjoyable life. The centre offer tailored treatment packages to suit all needs, with a range of therapeutic treatments including one-to-one and group therapy sessions in a calm and nurturing environment that can help aid recovery.

Birchwood is an inpatient residential treatment centre providing a range of services for drug and alcohol users in need of in-patient care. Birchwood is part of Kaleidoscope, a drug and alcohol charity that has been providing community and residential substance misuse treatment services across the UK since 1968. Offering tailor-made treatment packages for detoxification, stabilisation and rehabilitation, providing both clinical and psychosocial interventions. The unit comprises of 20 single occupancy bedrooms – with three DDA compliant rooms on the lower floor for those with more complex needs or mobility issues. We provide services for both men and women, including pregnant women and those with complex needs.

Phoenix Futures Wirral Residential Service provides personalised support through group and one-on-one sessions and a range of alternative therapies. There main is comfort for all clients, so there is a welcoming period when you first arrive so you can settle into your new environment. Phoenix Futures not only want to help you with your addictions but help you build life skills, so the residents are responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, with the newer members being given a buddy that has been at the facility longer. This Wirral based facility is great for animal lovers as they have cats, rabbits and guinea pigs all living in the on-site gardens. Residents with neutered dogs are welcomed to bring their dogs to stay in the on-site kennel, as they believe keeping the connection to animals is important to recovery.

Located on the border of Merseyside and Lancashire, Rainford Hall (Steps Together) are a luxury rehabilitation centre offering residents a range of addiction treatments in a remote, countryside setting.

Oasis Recovery Runcorn has a unique offering of two treatment programmes allowing for tailored treatments to the client’s choice. A 12 step programme and Oasis Strengths programme are both delivered within the therapeutic environment. Oasis Runcorn provides primary and secondary treatment which consists of community process, process groups, therapeutic activities, one to one counselling, house meetings, workshops, groups and worksheets. Family support and counselling can be delivered if agreed upon by the client as part of their care plan. Oasis Recovery recognises the importance of family, friends and support networks in recovery.

Delamere offers a luxury and therapeutic retreat in the heart of the Cheshire countryside for individuals suffering with alcohol or drug addiction issues and seeking to change their behaviours. Delamere offer luxury and deluxe rooms, with top facilities that are designed to make recovery as smooth as possible, and tailored treatment packages that allow residents to choose their schedule during their stay.

Shardale’s project is located in St Annes on the Fylde Coast south of Blackpool. Potential participants are typically referred for assessment by their Local Authority, usually in conjunction with their community-based treatment service provider as detoxification is required. Some of our programme participants are privately funded and they will refer themselves directly to the Shardale Admissions Team. The programme provides 36 places for individuals with a history of substance misuse including alcohol, illicit, prescribed, and other mood-altering substances. Currently, Taylor House is the largest stand-alone drug and alcohol residential treatment facility in the North West of England.

Acquiesce employs a combination treatment programme which incorporates both therapeutic and 12 step interventions. Acquiesce has found delivering a combination treatment programme extremely effective. The therapeutic and 12 step interventions complement each other and work well in combination. Each staff member of Acquiesce has been specifically recruited to build a highly skilled and experienced team in order to effectively deliver a combination treatment programme. Acquiesce pride themselves on offering a high level of focused, individual treatment to no more than 6 residential individuals at any one time, providing a high quality service at a low cost and ensuring we provide an environment which encourages recovery.
